CYPRUS

To qualify for residence, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Choose one of the following options:

• Purchase up to two new immovable residential properties with a combined market value of at least EUR 300,000 plus VAT, either from one or two different developers.
• Purchase up to two new or used immovable non-residential properties (such as offices, shops, hotels, or other developments) with a combined market value of at least EUR 300,000 plus VAT.
• Invest EUR 300,000 in the share capital of a physical company registered and operating in Cyprus, which must employ at least five people.
• Invest EUR 300,000 in units of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association’s collective investments (AIF, AIFLNP, RAIF).
• Provide evidence of a secured annual income of at least EUR 50,000 from abroad (with an additional EUR 15,000 required for each dependent spouse and EUR 10,000 for each minor child).

Additionally, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

• Submit clear criminal record certificates from both their country of origin and country of residence every three years (this also applies to all adult dependents).
• Provide an official statement confirming non-employment, unless they are directors of a company in which they have invested.

Procedures And Time Frame of The Cypriot Golden Visa

To apply for Cypriot residence, applicants must submit completed application forms along with the requisite fees and supporting documents. Successful candidates are required to annually demonstrate the continuity of their investment and provide proof of health insurance if they are no longer covered by the General Healthcare System. Income from foreign sources may encompass earnings from employment, rental income, pensions, interest from deposits, and dividends from shares.

The processing time for applications is two months.
